An indie roguelite auto-battle RPG with a vintage feel
Recruit one of 3 classes of hero to enter the mountain and collect Foepower from the growing horde of corrupted monsters.
Receive dynamic level-up choices, hunt for powerful equipment, and bump into unique encounters offering a fresh and fun level up experience for each playthrough.
Your recruited hero runs go from Level 1 to Level 30, designed for quick in-and-out gameplay.
Each round of auto-battling exploration takes 30-90 seconds, with the total run requiring less than 30 minutes.
Your run to level 30 is timed during active combat, offering a speed run competition versus your own best performances.
You'll have to balance how careful or aggressive to be, as you balance harvesting Foepower, experience, and loot, versus escaping increasingly difficult monsters and the effects of the mountain's corruption.
As you gather more Foepower, you can invest in troupe-wide Foepower traits to strengthen all your heroes.
At level 30, your heroes compete to become an arena champion.
In the arena, you can battle increasingly strong bosses, and gain additional arena level up powers.
You can also test your newest hero versus your best hero of that class (Warrior, Mage, or Inquisitor).
Its a king of the hill match - the best wins and can loot an item from the fallen.
Your arena champions can also train new recruits allowing for a type of multi-classing hero, enabling new gameplay variations.
Hi! I'm Haku (game name since 1999 Everquest), the solo indie game developer behind Foepower.
I've been a big fan of RPGs and have heartily enjoyed games like Everquest, WoW, Diablo, and Path of Exile.
I've been class lead in top raiding guilds, a frequent rank 1 holder on leaderboards, and even snagged a Demigod's Authority race reward in POE.
I love these games, but, boy, they can require a lot of time investment!
Enter Foepower, a game I made to scratch the itch of creating and customizing a character - then scaling it to the end game - without the huge time investment.
Pop in, do a level 30 run, building around the dynamic choices you encounter.
Push as hard or fast as you can, or just chill and take it easy.
Rinse-repeat and compete against your best runs.
I really enjoy it, and I hope you do too!
